Columbus, OH wins Smart City Challenge
Peloton Technology Teams with Columbus on Platooning

Mountain View, CA – The U.S. Department of Transportation announced today that Columbus, Ohio is the winner of the $50 million Smart City Challenge!  Peloton is thrilled to be a partner on the Smart Columbus team, contributing to Logistics initiatives which include truck platooning and Freight Signal Priority (FSP) in proximity to the the Rickenbacker Parkway. We were pleased to be joined by Walmart in offering a letter of support for the City’s forward thinking on freight safety and efficiency. Carla Bailo at Ohio State University and others did tremendous work to solidify Peloton’s role and bring the project together.
